Cherry Angiomas are benign tumors derived from cells of the vascular or lymphatic vessel walls or derived from cells of the tissues surrounding these vessels. Treatment of angiomas or hemangiomas start on the outside of the red tag and then move to the center. The patient will experience no pain and the desired result will immediately be seen.
Fibromas are benign tumors that are composed of fibrous or connective tissue. The fibroma molle (soft fibroma) or fibroma with a shaft consists of many loosely connected cells and less fibroid tissue. Fibromas mainly develop in the neck, armpits or groin area. The Viridex RF can easily remove either black or skin colored fibromas. The program is preset. The treatment is done by touching the side of the fibroma while lifting it with tweezers and cutting and coagulating at the same time. Patients experience this as painless and fast, and it leaves no scarring or bleeding.
